Which control in the photo matches is the one shown on the map?
Desktop computer or laptop.
On the photo you’ll see controls A, B, C, D, E and F. You must chose the one that matches the map. If you think none match the map pick Z.
Each different photo is called a station (as you’re ‘stood’ in that position). At each station there are several puzzles – each puzzle has a different map/control circle on.
At the end you’ll be ranked by:
- You will be ranked by time you took.
- If you pick a wrong control then you get a 30 second penalty.
You can do 1 station (5 puzzles) to warm up here. Map is 1:10,000. Note the green bush on the map has a fence round it on the ground.
Ready to compete?
There’ll be 4 stations with 5 puzzles at each.
The map is around the Iguazú Falls on the Argentina/Brazil border. It has never been used for orienteering before!
